My brother turned me on to an animated martial arts series a while ago called Avatar: the Last Airbender. It's just awesome! We crack up so much because once you know the characters you start to appreciate their unique senses of humor. The fight scenes are to die for (and I'm not even a huge martial arts person). Everything is so cinematic...explosions, mountains in the air, fire battles, swamps, flying bison, hurricanes. The hypothetical cultures created are so diverse and innovative.

  It's just really, really epic.

You know where I'm going with this, don't you? Movie. Yes, it is official that M. Night Shyamalan will be directing a Last Airbender movie (trilogy) with the co-writers/creators of the original series. The four initial main leads have already been cast (Katara, Aang, Sokka, and Zuko)...but the movie is still in the early stages, negotiations, etc...and anything can happen.

I don't have an agent to connect me with this project, so Youtube is the next best thing. I'm really passionate about the story and characters. I would give anything to be involved.

This is a link to me dramatizing Katara's famous monologue. Please COMMENT and tell me what you think! Feel free to share with your friends and post a link to this video so I may get as much exposure as possible. Thanks everyone.
